Ok my girlfriends jeep has this POS and I want to get a cable activated setup made.

Any recomendations on what to use?
How to set it up.
Posi Lock is 200 and Im a cheap sucker.

Id like to see pics on how others have eliminated this.

I know how to do it but wanted to pick your guys brains and not have to reinvent the wheel.

I dont recall hearing about anyone making there own. I have the posi-loc and it works great!

glad to hear it works good but I dont want to shell out 200 on that junk axle right now.

There's a writeup on doing this HERE (http://www.bc4x4.com/tech/2002/d30shiftmotor/) , a guy on another message board (ORC) just did this and said it was pretty easy and CHEAP.

Run a search on my name. I know I covered it about 9 months ago in Jeep Talk. It's really easy and shouldn't cost you more than a few $$$ for the cable. If you need pics, PM me and I'll see what I can dig up for you.
