My scout hasnt moved in a year and 6 months. It needs tons of $$ thrown at it. I have no time to fix it or to make the trip. Blah Blah Blah.....

Besides....I'm not sure I'm part of the 'community' anymore...

Did a bunch of work around the place I've been putting off. Moved a bunch of boxes out of the garage to a permanent storage spot in the basement. Sprayed a bunch Round-up in the gravel lot in front of the barn and along the fence lines, trimmed some trees, blah, blah, blah.....

Then I went to mow the lawn this afternoon and managed to kick my own ass in the process. I was closing the driveway gates to get them out of the way when I felt a jabbing pain in my left heel. When I looked down to who creeped up behind me and hammered a nail in my foot, I saw little reddish, winged insect on my heel. Some kind of hornet or wasp or whatever little non-dettachable stinger having little bitch.

Anyway... as I dispensed with that little fawker I noticed about 10 of it's little friends swarming around my legs lining up for their turn to torture me. lt was about then that I did my best impersonation of a meth-head doing an Irish jig and tried to turn and haul-ass out of there. Having two left feet and never known for my dancing abilities... it's no wonder I managed to trip myself and go down hard on the driveway removing flesh from my left knee, left elbow, one of my left knuckles and the side of my face both above and below my left eye. :homer:

I don't know if the little minions either took pity on me or were laughing too hard to come in for the kill, so luckily I only ended up with the one sting on my heel. :shaking:

...... then I mowed the lawn.

worked on my mid motor mounts. Plus fixed the broken tranny mount. Bought some left handed drill bit and they suck the stud out like a charm :smokin:

got the plates made and bolted in place. made some poly bushing thingy's and just need to cut and weld on some tubing supports.

Major screwup must have started letting his hair down on his birthday. The craziest thing I ever remember happening was his daughter using blue food coloring gell instead of frosting to write on his cake. All our lips and tounges turned bright blue. We laughed.:evil:

Diesel- I feel i'm less permanent fixture and more like a cancerous lesion on the brain stem that cant be removed...

Picked up my boys on Friday afternoon...Took them and the wife to a water park in Eastern Washington for the weekend.

Spent the weekend at the wife's sisters house.

Glad to be home.

Cleaned garage back up after two months of no activity on Thursday. Work will be continuing tonight.

Camped with some friends at Cisco Grove (rigless).

At least it got me super motivated to work on my junk...

Sat- Went to pick up antique dresser, got stood up by C-list bitch.
Picked up the Cj-5 my brother just bought.

As for this weekend, 0 IH related. Other than stare at my last, current "running" rig thinking I should probably work on it and maybe go racing next weekend. But it was too hot out and I didn't feel like it, played with the kids instead.

On the plus side, by deck is 99% complete. Only need to cut, sand and stain the top most rail and a little trim work. But its complete, cleaned, kid-safe and look'n :smokin: Gotten a ton of complements already and once the top board is on it will be tits!

Once its finally done, that's the biggest honey-do albatross around my neck.

Sat: went to a air show in Spokane with the family.
Sun: picked up my Scout from my friends.Tube doors are :smokin:

Saturday went to PNP and pulled a trans cooler for the steering. got the shocks mounted, the hydro boost done, drove the scout for the first time in 6 years.:flipoff2:

Went through my Scout boxes at my parents place and went down from 6 boxes of Scout stuff to just 3! Watch out for Scout yard sale stuff on here:flipoff2:

Then got my 350 stuff organized and started a list of what i need to finish the engine stuff... and put a list together of what i need to get my phase 1 done... engine and tranny install with motor running.

I wish........ Still have lots to do to the scout before going on any trips. getting ready to move and next month is the wifes and mine anniversary so its all about her:) maybe next year we will make it.

Went drinkin at my buddies garage bar again, the lone female got the jitters after awhile and left. Didn't pass out this time.

Started wiring work on my trailer, then decided to rip a few board off so I can get to the brake wiring easier, and found the wood to be more rotted than I thought. So, I need to throw some shit on the rest of the deck to help it rot faster and make it easier to tear off.

Hmmm... I'm in central to northern Minnesota (St. Cloud) right now on a business trip. Today was frickin' beautiful. High of 80 with virtually no humidity. Yesterday was different story... it was humid, but nothing like I'm used to in Missouri and yesterday evening a wicked thunderstorm rolled through and dumped a couple of inches of rain in about a half-hour. Wind was up around 70 mph blowing the rain like crazy.

The *cough* scenery sure is nice here in St. Cloud.
