A friend of mine has a 63 FJ40, 74 FJ40, 73 FJ55, and 95 FZJ80 and rotates driving them to work (well except the 80 his wife kinda hordes it). Those are his running cruisers. He has another two FJ55s (69 and 71), an FJ45 wagon, and a big pile of parts.

I have a measly 3 cruisers. I had 4 not long ago, but only for about 1 month while my FJ60 was for sale.

this is not a post to sell parts, it's a post to show my weakness for buying Cruisers.
My cruiser count is a bit unfair because some of them might get chopped and a few might get sold
I just sold the 1974 last week and I'm trading the 1983 BJ60 for the body work being done to my 1987 HJ60
I did just buy two 1982 BJ60's, one of them is still sitting on the street. I might have two more FJ45's this month.

I have 3 FJ55's right now and parted out two others this year. I basically have parts or pigs from 1973,75,76,77,78,79 and an 80
Not bad eh!
the 1973 is the only one that is fairly solid.

My 1970 FJ40 is my daily driver, I've owned it for 5 years
My 1987 HJ60 is going to be my new daily driver as soon as the body work is finished.
My 1965 FJ45 short box is going to have a full frame off on it as soon as my shop is finished.
My wife has limited me to 2 insured Cruisers at a time. I have had 3 insured for a short time but that was pushing my luck.
I maxed at 12 once for a short time, the wife put her foot down

I have part of a FJ25 stashed at a friends shop that the wife won't let me bring home (shhhh!)

The only Cruiser I haven't been able to get my hands on is a 45 wagon

Its not the running Cruisers that MudGuppie has that would blow your mind - its everything else!!!!

Steve - Is your shop built yet?

Hey Jim,

The shop isn't finished, this weekend will be seven months since I touched it. It's been a busy summer working on Cruisers.
Thankfully I had a finished roof over my balding head.

The other shop is over flowing right now, you can get inside the door and to the toolbox but that’s about it.

The wife said I'm not allowed to touch my FJ45 short box until the shop is finished, hahaha, so far the box is off and being reproduced in aluminum, and there is a disk brake front end being started for it also.

I do plan on working on the shop this weekend, it's getting cold and dark too early for me. Hopefully the floor insulation and radiant heat is done by next weekend.

Good to hear from you again

Nah, Josh only has TWO. Of course, they're a 1984 HJ47 and a 1983 FJ40, but this one's about numbers, right? :)

I only have one, and like to remain one for a long while, at least till I'm done with big ticket items...

two guys in my club are in the 13 cruisers and up range. one of them gives rick donnelly a run for his money on the 45 wagon market. me, i'm down to a measely 3, but one of them's a 45 swb with removeable top so i'm happy about that...and, i will have another pig someday.

Ige et al

At one time in a place far far away (1,200 miles to be exact) I had 23 FJ45 wagons, 1972 FJ40, 2 FJ60's.

now I am down to:
1 1966 wagon in pieces
1 1981 FJ40 pretty clean
and this weekend another 1981 FJ40 pretty clean but smoking engine.

pretty conservative these days and another move south in 8 months may be lighter as well.

paul decker has a boatload including 12 45 pickup's, 4+ FJ25's, and a number of others.

Do you think Paul Decker might sell some of those FJ25 parts ?
Does he have an email address ?

I would venture a guess that Paul Decker has more cruisers than just about anyone else. His email is deckerpaul@earthlink.net, and I think much of his collection is for sale, at the right price. :)
