: 2F flywheel step?

Gents,

I was wonderin' if anyone would be kind enough to answer these questions for me:
1. Does a 2F flywheel (ie 75-84 FJ 40) have a step?
2. If it does have a step, is the friction surface recessed or protruding?
3. What is the height of the step - needs to be accurate?

I have constantly been nagged with clutch problems (307 to H41 with Dellow adapter) and I have one more thing to try before I get my spare flywheel machined to suit a stock clutch. I am pretty easy on the right pedal.

I have heard about the Centreforce clutch, but can't get it here. Besides, I can get the stock clutch kit for about US$100 which I am sure is far cheaper than the Centreforce clutch on this side of the Pacific.

TIA

Ben

mine steps up, surface protruding, as you said. DO NOT get the centerforce. I got one, and while it has lasted great, it has very little play. It's like ON or OFF, not much slip. I would try to get my hands on a centerforce pressure plate, and run a stock disc, IMO...
