: 8" ford??? WTF?? What years and in what??

I bought a mini spool for a 8" ford axle and I thought he meant 8.8....so I'm stuck w/ a spool I can't use....What does this fit...?? oh yeah...28 spline....anyone want to buy it??:p

tea it was plut in some old ford cares back in the 60's and 70's some racers use cuz it is lighter than the 9" and you can modify the housing to accept 9" junk

Anyway, 8" came in Mustangs, Fox's, Cougars, Falcons, T-birds, most 70's Ford Cars

The 8" strikes again.....only in a different way than usual.....

The 8" is a spittin image of the 9", only slightly smaller. A lot of guys think they are getting a 9" only to pay for it, bring it home, and find out otherwise.

Bummer.

I thought the 8" mini-spool was the EXACT same unit as the 9" mini-spool.... so long as its 28-spline.

Might be worth a trial fit?;)
