He didn't have time before we left to fab up a decent skid plate. Youch. The trans survived Insanity and everything else at the Big Dog's Fall Jambo, but Troy's backyard did him in.

We started the day with 7 and 3 were dead by day's end.

I smashed the electric fans for the radiator into one of the engine block's pulleys and fataled before even getting very far into the trail. Wasn't paying attention and clipped a tree.

Tom, didn't even make it to the trail, ended up leaving it on the road, due to blowing one too many ujoint caps. I think he was pulling th eleft front apart about twice a day.

Is this the beginning of the Big Dog's world tour?:D

I'll bet Skip got his head wet didn't he? There's another thread about the Badlands closing next year, hope it's not true.

John don't confuse anyone into thinking that your Jeep is actually finished. He was driving a rental.

Ok, So I took Jimmy's jeep out to Indiana and scaped it up a bit. He was waiting at the shop today till I brought it back. Bought him dinner and handed him the T-shirt from the Badlands.

He walked around the jeep and only found 2 of the multiple dents I put in it. Then he popped the hood and saw what I really did. I guess I didn't bang enough of the stuff out in time.

Jimmy, you out there. (He'll find the thread eventually.)

According to Jimmy, It's comming off the lift tomorrow and going into cold storage out back somewhere. I'm afraid to take anything off of it before hand, because whatever isn't attached to it may make it's way into someone else's. I'll be stopping at Home Depot and buying a couple of tarps for it. I asked him about having in done in time for Christmas and he said more likely after new years. Guess we need to know out some of the smaller projects and clear the lot. His old man said we need to come out and do a yard clean up, i.e. scrap a bunch of the parts trucks and move the piles around a bit.

Any idea when I'll get my Swamper back from Skip?

Hey it is one less thing to have to store !! All you'll have to do is tell him you need it. Conversation might go like this....
John: Hey Skip, I need my tire back.
Skip: Why?
John: I have my truck running.
Skip: When did you lift the Dodge?
John: No, the Jeep is done.
Skip: HA HA HA !!! Yea, right.

By the way, did you tell Jimmy how about his Jeep was like a pinball bouncing off the bumpers down the ravine?

Hey Tommy is this Bronco Buggy familiar to you? He lives in Frederick, not sure if he's with big dogs or not.

Yeah, that is Eugene Rose's. He is actually with the KGB Club. He comes out to almost all of the Big Dog events. He and his wife Bunny competed in the Best of the Best. Bunny had one hell of a ride down Hell Hole going ass of nose. She wasn't injured, just a little shaken. But she got back on the horse and drove it out.
