whats the general consensus on front push to clear 40 to 43's on the front of an 80. I know its somewhat lift dependent, so figure medium sized lift at best.
Was thinking like 5", but would like to go a little less if I think I can get away with it.

look at my build,i pushed about 8 in the front with my 42's. 60 front on FJ lift springs and you can see the pics flexed up with the backhoe at full stuff up front.at full stuff i had about 1/2 an inch tire clearence,it might get better or worse if air'd down,we'll see. some day.

I put 42" on the war pony, but I did do some fender mods front and rear. They seem to fit O.K. The wheelbase is 110" so about 1/2 and 1/2, on the strech.

WAY back in the day
I pushed out 3 inches for my 37's but I think I could run 40's without too much issue
