I picked up X-chassis #46 in April from another member on the boards. He already had seat mounts fuel cell mount and a few other mounts made. Well after a bunch of cutting and a whole bunch of grinding it was time to start.

Chassis had surface rust but nothing to bad.

I am running all Toyota running gear. Stacked cases with 4.7 in the rear. 22re with SDS computer, and performance engineering header.
I lost a lot of my pictures through the steps of getting it together, but here are some of my pictures of how it sits now.

looks really good. Got any pics of the interior? With the subframe it looks like you have a good amount on interior space.

That's a good lookin rig man. Looking at these ftoy and X builds makes me kick my self in the ass for getting rid of my 81 yota. I've been without a rig for 4yrs now, I gotta do something.

Can't way to see pics of it on the rocks!

Well went out to day! Few little bugs need to work out! Arb is not engaging and I hear an air leak coming from the breather! It was working fine before I left. Need to gusset the front air bumps better.
All in all I love the ride and the way this chassis performs! Very stable!

No problems with the co2 tank hitting my arm. It is really tucked inthere.
Headed out to JV next weekend!
Here is one pic of today and I will post more later!

Before you tear into your dif pull your air line at the punkin and shoot a little bit of WD40 into the fitting, hook the line back up and cycle it a few times. I've had two ARB that would leak after sitting for a while but once shot with WD40 work great until they sit for a month or two.

I already pulled it apart and found that the line got pinched in the back of my housing. I clearenced the housing and repaired the line. I works great!

Thank you for the tip.
