So here's my post- officailly i an awaiting the first 4 feet of fresh snow- and cannot even think of how much fun i'll be having after work wheeling with the few guys that will go in the snow - !!!! and cutting our christmas tree in the 12 feet or so we should get this year- just a little rain please god! thanks Jess:D

I've spent more time STUCK in the snow East of Chico the logical thinker would never understand why I would ever go back. I've had to leave my truck for dead up there overnight twice then rescued on the drive out.
I can't wait to go back. Screw those folks who go up there just to get Xmas trees then get stuck blocking us wheelers' paths though. Most are well equipped and go thru fine, but then the guy goes up in his new Xterra and gets stuck in the first turn from Bambi Inn, oh no that was me in my truck stuck in the first turn blocking the road!

I'm hoping that we get enough snow down here in SoCal to actually say "I went snow wheeling today!". I havnt been in much snow since I left Pensylvania 29 years ago.

Hey Jess, I cruised by you guys at Saddle lake last weekend. Y'all seemed a little involved, so I didn't want to take up your time. I was hoping you were going to take me up on my offer of :beer: at long lake, but no one stopped in.
I was with my wife and two "kids" (black lab and viszla) walking in to Saddle. Too bad you guys didn't drop into camp afterward, I packed an extra 30 pack of beer just for that :D.

Jesse...with this years snow...if we get any, you can update that pic of your truck in something deeper than a light frost........LOL

I was on that trip in the pic and the snow was around four feet and it was snowing so hard it was covering are tracks behind us.

When it starts you should come up and do one of are friday night runs were normally home buy 3 am plenty of time to get the mail out:beer:

Remeber not all snow is created equal - it may not look deep in that pic- but we were all gettin eatin up in it- sometimes the snow is easy and sometimes its a bitch- Jess :D

You got that right.....snow seems different every trip. morning, afternoon, night, fresh, old, different.............you got my shaft done yet?

I wish we got more than just acouple of days of snow here in Charlotte. On the realy bad years we dont get snow at all :(
