A friend and I are comming down from the LA area in a few weeks for a concert and we were thinking about taking the train to the Downtown - Gas Lamp area. The concert is at Cricket Ampitheater in Chula Vista, is there a train or trolly that we can catch from GL to Cricket?

You can get on the Trolley at the south end of the Gas Lamp and then transfer
to the other Trolley line at 12th and Imperial transit center. Take the "Blue Line"
south toward the border and get off at Palomar St. There you can take the
Route 704 bus east. It will get you about a mile from the Amphitheater.
that's as close as public transit will get you.

Thanks, figured we would have some walking to do. Might be a good way to sober up a little and let some of the ear ringing subside.

Edit: Neither the 704 or 905 bus run on Sundays, and the 933/934 stops around 8:00.
