Hey guys,

Maybe this is better for the Chevy forum, but I"m going to ask here anyway.

I rented Penske 15foot cube van in Portland onFri. and it's got a governor on it that keeps it below 70 mph.

What does this thing look like? Is it hooked to a sensor somewhere? Is this connected to the speedo somewhere? Can I remove it?

It's driving me CRAZY to just go 69mph!!!!!

Help!!!!

Thanks

mike I rented the exact same truck a few years ago
I can't remember exactly where it was, I think near the throttle line, there was a plug in type thing that I unhooked to get it to go to 82 mph, but then a second gov kicked in.
good luck
you can leave that small block at my shop if it's too much trouble to haul it
:D

Freddy!

I got the 350 into the truck, but now the question is how do I get it the heck out!??!!~!!:flipoff2:

I might need it later, so I'd better keep it.

I'll check out the little electric throttle thingy in the morning. 82 is much better than 69 (well, in *most* cases).

Hehe.

Hope things are good.

did you end up figuring it out, or was your entire trip to Vegas at the blistering pace of 69?
