I just did help you out...I only paid $18 for a stainless Steel 24" braided line...what else do you want? Call them and order the lines and be done with it!
Mr McGee 10-27-2002, 02:41 PM i know and thanks! i found the same line in the jegs catalog for the same price. woody has some but he lost the part number, so they must exist. if nothing shows up i will go with those.
also, somebody explain to me the -3 AN fitting? i have no idea what size is -3AN. thanks!
Lord Baskerville 10-27-2002, 09:10 PM I usually tear the part # and desc. tab of the box of all my custom parts.
Such as the lines you need.
I have it in the shed, but won't look for a day or so....

Mark '73 FJ40 10-28-2002, 02:16 PM I used ProComp's stainless lines for Toyota P/U. Cruisers and trucks have the same size brake lines.
Erik D_lux 10-28-2002, 02:29 PM You can also get a stock clutch line or brake line from a pickup and hook it up to your existing cruiser brake line for some long ones. Its pretty cheep. Its what I did and it works great.
Lord Baskerville 10-28-2002, 03:22 PM OK, NAPA Part # 38009

thanks again!
cruiserbrett 10-28-2002, 10:35 PM Max,
The bh38009 pn is 22.5" long but has nissan ends. they are the same 10mm x 1.0 thread and inverted flare but use a slightly different clip and retainer on the female threaded end. Hit up a junkyard for the metal tabs and you will be fine.... you will still need to drop the frame portion of the brake hose end down a bit to get a safe routing but they work fine for the rear and even better for the front. Make sure you get a couple of the copper washers as well. Mine took two to get it seated and not leaking...
As for the front outer axle hoses, use a bh38881 to go from the axle housing mount to the caliper and forget the extra backing plate shit....
