Well I was going to run 42" TSL's with about 6" lift, but due to not being able to get a tow rig for about another year I will have to post pon that idea (this is my daily driver).
The new plan is 36" SX's on the current suspension (in my sig) with longer shocks, longer Hill shackles and ORD zero rates front and rear with some major fender triming. I will also be running hummer wheels so my wheel will be pretty narrow as well.
Do you think this will work as a daily driver as well as a decent offroader. Aslo plan on putting ARB up front and detroit in the rear.
Need opinoins and critics:flipoff2: :flipoff2:

I run ORD's zeros front a rear giving me a total of 5 front and 6 rear and a 1 inch body lift I clear BFG KM's 35's no problem on a 10 inch rim with 4 inch back space. Only trimming is back to the inner fender but the innerfender is uncut.
My concern comes with the hummer rims. They have something like 7 inches of back space. It will make fenderscrub not a problem but you may start hitting the tires on the springs. Might want to get the centers so you can change the offset to something like 4-5 inches.
Might also try www.coloradok5.com and do a search on Hummer rims. There has been a lot of discussion on these in the past and might pick up some good info.

Hey Grim,
Should have mentioned that the rims will be modified, I'm going to send them to Daniel @ USA6X6 to modify the centers.
Yeah CK5 rocks!:D :D :D I'm a member over there (OL14BLAZ) just wanted to get some opinions over here on PBB!

I was running 36" swampers on a '73 Blazer with 2.5" Rancho springs front and rear. Also had 3" blocks in rear and 2"longer shackles in front.I opened up the fenders and cleared easily.I only added the shackles and blocks to get the case off the ground a little more.Blazin:D

Maybe it is just me, but i dont feel safe with blocks in the front... yeah it will offset your front axle, but still.. what are other opinions.. i know alot of K5 guys say they are great, but still, they are BLOCKS.. anyone had any problems yet with fatigued u-bolts?

Hick,
If you are talking about the ORD zero rates they are not blocks. These actually bolt to the leaf spring pack like a add-a- leaf does. They look like blocks when installed in the truck, but they are not.
Go to www.offroaddesign.com and they have a page on them in the new parts section. That might clear it up a little more.

Some of the old Fords came with 2" blocks in front. The U-bolts went through a couple of loops on the side of the blocks to keep them in place.I don't mind the zero rates since they are pinned to the springs but they will increase axle wrap.
