With a big holiday weekend coming up, I'm sure somebody had to be busy working on there Scouts.

Sat: work my side job installing HVAC systems.

Sun: Trimmed Scouty (matt) front fenders. No pic's as camera was m.i.a.
But they look good, we took about 2" off both front and back. He has been tearing up his tires so this should help a ton. Ran out of time, as we still need to find or make that little triangle inner fender mud guard that bolts on the rocker area. That and some new bump stops and he should be set.

Work a bit on my daughters pickup too. Just cosmetic stuff.
Getting ready to start on some new speaker boxes too.:smokin:

I won a saddle for a horse but I haven't ridden a horse since 1985 and I don't have plans to ride one any time soon.:shaking:

You can see the sheet on the right that will cover the wells.

Too funny. How do you win a saddle? I'd put it on craigslist and convert it into truck parts or gas/diesel....

I attended a horse event with my old lady......It was a camp for the weekend type thing and I was going to go and set her up to camp then leave for the weekend but they made me pay admission to get in so I came back to eat some of the food I paid for. With admission everyone got a raffle ticket for which the grand prize was this fancy custom made whatever saddle.......I won! I think some of the horse people who knew I was not one of them were bent but they'll get over it.
I gave the saddle to the queen.

I married into horses too. The only good thing about horses is she never complains about the Scout collection or Parts Fund...

While we're on the subject, can someone tell me why its more important to feed the horses before dark than to feed me?:bawling:

Back to the task at hand, we worked on the pond and waterfall project this weekend. :shaking:

Hey Craig, You should get some good base with the anvil. :D

Thats the worlds smallest tig welding table.:D I put that together to "just get by" When I took a tig welding class back in 06:laughing: I attached a plate to my anvil stand and been using it ever sence.

Those speaker boxes are kit from WFO

There is an error in your logic..... somehow you've equated not building my wheeler with saving money. I only wish that were the case.

Did nothing Scout related.

Did score a pretty nice used popup truck camper that will no doubt require some work and money - which will get me further behind on the Scout.

How is that gonna work with your waste oil tank/tool box arangement?

I thrashed on the scout and finished it, except for the new radiator from speedway. Which should be here first part of next week. Till then, I'll get started on my 1210 so its ready for the tow to Naches.:mr-t:

Flew to Reno and spent the weekend with my buddy Denis of www.reno4x4.com

Ran the Rubicon from Wentworth, went shooting in the desert, and had a good time being a bachelor for the weekend.

It won't work with the other crap. But it is gonna be sweet for camping - heat, stove, dry bed....

I've always been one who was just fine camping with a tent but a couple months ago we bought a nice camper mostly to keep moma comfy.....I tell you what I'm spoiled now. Camping with a camper rocks!:smokin:

That is what I am hoping. Roll out of bed, stand up straight - turn on the stove to make coffee and pancakes. Oh did I forget to say I still won't have my pants on...

Mine is super tiny and older, but it is a start - if I clean it up, make everything work I can probably sell it and upgrade if it turns out I like having a camper.

if it turns out I like having a camper.

You will.

I got one of the same things, except mine's a "fleet" originally for a small truck that's been monkey'd with. I'm 6'-2, its about 6'-1 inside, and about 6'2 wide (for sleeping). But still beats a tent!!

I was planning on not messing with it this year and just sleeping in the canopy.... but since everyone else is doing it..... :D

I bought a trailer years ago, it's a tent trailer but you just fold the tents out the front and back. So looks like a small normal trailer. This way when kids say they got to go, we can stop anywhere. I added a trailer hitch to the back for bikes and what not. I like takin the mini, so I can drive all over the place checking out the area.
