I've got a buddy that has a set of 8 yr. old 36" Buckshot radials. I want to buy them, but when he aired one down with a load on it a bunch of little cracks appeared, nothing deep, but they are there. Being a good guy, he is worried they would let me down on the trail somwhere. How much cracking, if any, is OK. These tires are a solid 80% and he only wants $300.

My Buckshots have the same cracks all over. Pretty bad too. And never let me down.
