Al Breakit 10-28-2002, 09:15 PM Can anyone recommend a good (cheap) Exhaust shop in the Sunrise and 50 area. I need to have a pipe from my manifold to cat twisted up and don't want to go too far on an open exhaust. Any guesses as to what it would cost me to make one 4 foot section welded to the cat and muffler I already have? Drew: I doubt whether the open headers on that tractor motor would make that much noise - no more than a Harley:D Go the distance to the shop Shane recommended - maybe go at commute time when traffic is heavy and you wont stand out. When I took my rig in last summer I went 10 miles down the freeway and was passed by a CHP bike - didn't even flinch. If you are stopped just tell 'em you on your way to get a muffler. I have had my truck in there several times (mostly my fault) and they have taken care of me each and every time. Joe is a good guy and they do good work.
