Well, I finially got most of the NOS set-up for the 420. I picked up a used "NOS Direct Port, Pro Shot" system with a "Victor Jr" single plane manifold. As you can in the pic, It came with a "Carb Shop" built, Holley street dominator carb that I'll use on my El Camino.
The single Impco propane carb that I have now only flows 460 cfm so I'm getting another one to add to it and a dual carb adaptor to mount to the top of the Victor jr which can handle over 1000 cfm.
The foggers will run the nos and liquid propane. I'm going to use two fuel soleniods on end side as a safety percaution to keep from run straight NOS if a solenoid fails. The line will run from the tank to a Y to the two solenoids, back to another Y(two into one) to the distribution block. If one solenoid fails the other will still open(unless they both fail :( ). The propane has a 104 oct. rating so by direct injecting of the LPG I would'nt need to retard the timing during the NOS shot(I think?, still thinking on that). Anybody got advice on this?
This for the mud events and playing in the sand, not the rocks,,,,,the last Hawaii TTC I placed second in the mud event(by 4 feet), I'm determined not to let this happen again. :D
