ok guys i need some help i have a 77 coprate14 that is one wheel peal deal,but i have a locker out of a dana 60 35 spline will they interchange the 60 is 00 out of a z71 thanks

no :smokin: If you have ever seen a 14 bolt and a 60 you would know the size on the two are completely different.

And there was never any Dana 60 used in a Z71.

This has got to be a joke, buy the damn detroit for $300 and change and be done with it, why would you try to make a Dana 60 locker fit in a 14bolt anyway? If you did get a lockero ut of a 2000 3/4 ton with a full-floater it's probably a 14-bolt and it's probably a gov-lock junk. A Z71 sticker in no way indicates what came on the vehicle, I saw a Z71 sticker on an Escort hatchback but it didn't have yellow shocks. :flipoff2:

If you want to lock the 14bolt cheap, go to Colorado K5 there is a pretty good writeup on how to weld the rear. You could sell the Dana 60 locker, weld the 14 up, and come out with a spooled rear and be ahead some $$$!:smokin: :smokin:
