I've read and researched everything possible on the motorcraft 2100 and I am still amazed that no one gives a clear answer on how to hook up the vacuum lines. I've seen every diagram on the BBD and how to hook up a Webber but no one seem to be able to post a clear vacuum diagram for a 2100. I've also seen the discussions on this is a ported and this is a manifold port. There is anough guys out there that have hooked up these that someone can draw a simple diagram so that I can see if It jibes with the way I have mine hooked up. I have a 88 with an auto and it runs ok but I would like to compare it with someone elses.

Thanks if you can help. Roadrash

umm pretty simple.

Vacuum hoses – The motorcraft has two ported outlets. One on the front, just outside (to drivers side) of the drivers side venturi idle control screw. I used this ported outlet for my distributor. There is also a ported outlet on the passenger side of the carb base. I am not sure if there is any difference between these two.

That's all you need. Assumung that you do the either do the nutter bypass, or install an HEI.

Yeah I just picked one, and plugged the other....not even sure which one I hooked up to...I run the one vac line to the HEI...no need for anymore in my application.

Ok. there is a port that comes off the brake booster. Does this go to the PVC and T off to something else? I understand the Vacuum advance runs off of the port on the passenger side and the egr is the one on the drivers side. the canister has three lines carb bowl vent is obvious but how about canister purge and signal?
