It's no Ibis, but I like it. Totally original, looks to be an early/mid 90's, anyone know where the #'s are on it, I haven't looked yet. Any areas more prone to crack(other than the bottom bracket and head tube, it's the 7005 al frame)?

I have an original Barracuda A2R sitting in my garage. That bike got me through high school and college. Definitely one of my favorite bikes. Durable and reliable.

I went to this from a first year GT I-drive 3000. it was a nice bike, but heavy. before that I was on an Ibis Bo-Ti, which I never should have let go.

I like this one a lot, though, It's Very Light and nimble, I think because of the rake and short top tube, so it flicks very well. It makes me wonder how well it'll do on some hilly trails though.

I've been trying to track down a Barracuda Dos Equis Team Bike for a while. I might try to find one of the old full suspension frames to rebuild. I've put my A2R through the ringer and it's taken everything, even with a rigid front fork. I want to upgrade the front fork, but it works so well, I'd rather not mess with it when I can get another bike for the price of the fork.

The best years were 93-95, before Ross bought them out.

yep mine was definitely built from 93-95. it's stamped and stickered in the right spots.
