All right I might be a newbie so lay off ***holes
this is a perferctly good question to ask so check it out I am currently run Wild Hores 5.5 coils up front. I want a coil that will flex as good or better basiclly something with a softer or the same progressive rate like the WH but to offer me more lift. Im running EFI 5.0L FORD no much wieght on the front end. So I thought maybe a soft TJ coil but what do you think out there I need roughly 8" of lift and I thought of lowering my coil buckets witch would work but I dont want to.

Wow! Are you planning on running 42's? I dont know of anybody out there who makes a coil longer than 5.5 for the EB/F150. You can custom order yours via National, but you getting into big $$$ there. I would simply lower your coil buckets to gain the desired amount of lift. Mutch cheaper in the long run.

I know someone makes 9" lift coils. However I know nothing else about them. I know you said you didn't want to do it, but droping the coil buckets might be the best idea so far.

There's no easy bolt on for you newbie. :flipoff2: You start this sort of stuff you hire it out or learn to do it yourself. Lower your coil buckets. If you want softer springs get some from BC Bronco's or Duff's. Your going to have to tune the ride height yourself.

Coil Spring Specialties will make you whatever lift and spring rate you want. Somewhere in midwest, Kansas City maybe. Sorry no contact #, that info is down low in a reciept pile thats far too painful to look at . :flipoff2:

Contact Mike @ Bent & Twisted www.bentandtwisted.com. He sells coil spring pivots that provide about 2.5" of lift.
Good luck;)

Skyjacker or Superlift makes a 7" coil, but it would be stiff as hell. Combined with coil pivots that would make 9" of lift, but I'd keep the WH 5.5 coils and add the coil pivots.
Besides that, custom is the only way to go.

I got the WH 5.5's and the Bent and Twisted pivots. I think I have about 6" of lift, in theory it should be 8". You can also build the pivots to have more space between the pivot itself and the axle thus giving more lift.
