I have a 95 Passport with Auto trany. been wheelin with it since 05', but its not happy pushing around 39.5's. I already know I can get a tacoma tranny with bell housing adapter and do what I want. But my question is, can I put a 5-speed manual Izusu tranny under it and go with a duel-case? any impute would be greatly appreciated. Ive been pondering this for a long time.

Yes. I have done it as have a few others. It involves chopping the front out put off the front case unless you go with a divorced tcase with driver drop as the second case. Just do a google search for isuzu dual case and it should bring something up. Basically I used a tcase from an auto behind the manual. The input on the auto is the same spline as the output on the manual. You need to build an adapter for the auto tcast to bolt up to. Not very difficult.
