: 168T for 153T swap?

Searched.

I have a '70 307 sbc with a 153T flywheel. Can I swap it for the 168T flywheel, and will the 168T starter bolt up to the 307 block? Both the starter and the flywheel are pretty tired and I have the 168T sitting there. Ive heard the 168T starter is cheaper too.

it depends on which bellhousing you have on your rig, if running the large one it is a straight bolt on with right starter. If running small one have to swap out bellhousings also. Might also have to swap out clutch and pressure plates.
