: What Transfer case in a 71 Dodge

I know it is divorced but is it a 205? My buddy told me it might be like a 202 of something like that. It is a 3/4 ton truck. And if it is not a 205 can I twin stick it if it is something else>

The best way to tell is look for the three bolt pattern on the small round plate.

Look in the Advanced adaptors catalog, it has a picture of the NP205 and shows the small three bolt pattern plate.

Best way to identify when your tages get all worn off.

It will be a Divorced 205 if it is the stock T-case.. Dodge did use both a NP200 and a NP201 but the last year for both of those was 69..
