So...
I'll give you a little history first. I traded my old buggy for the old KOZ offroad ZJ a few years ago. And after rolling it last year its been waiting for a new body since. I have had its body doner for about two years now and its been my DD/Tow rig for the majority of that time. I am also a trail guide for jeep jamboree and I need a rig for this years Ouachita Jambo. SO since I sold my TJ last month this has to be done OCT. 28th.
So here is what the KOZ ZJ looked like new

When I bought it.

After raping it of all its goodies (that was fri. Sept. 24th)
http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/8572/img5528p.jpg
I stripped my red ZJ the weekend before (sept 18th-19th)
before stripping.
http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/9007/img5509j.jpg
It took me the hole weekend to tare down the red ZJ and I spent the rest of this last week taring the KOZ jeep apart in the evenings.

Action Fab 09-26-2010, 07:43 PM yesterday (sept. 25th) I spend the day stripping the frame with paint stripper and pressure washing all my parts. I got a late start too since I had to run errands that morning so I only got about 5 hours of work done.

http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/8494/img5539t.jpg
Today I was able to strip down the engine bay and move the inner fenders to clear the tires.

Thats all as of tonight. but look back daily because this one will move fast.
AgitatedPancake 09-26-2010, 07:55 PM Holy shit I didn't know your old ZJ was THAT one...fawk! It went through a rough life. I always liked those handicapped rails on the rear quarter of it back when it was red.
I'll be watching this for sure man!
Action Fab 09-26-2010, 08:08 PM Well the PO did a good job niggering it up. Then I wheeled it every weekend for more than a year. It has been needing a rebuild for a while.
It will be basicly just like it was new. But I am adding the Atlas, 40" LTB's which are 2" bigger than the old 39" TSL's. It will also have a better tranny, and a few other cool things.
AgitatedPancake 09-26-2010, 08:19 PM Fancy fancy! That'll be badass. I have a feeling my WJ is going to end up on a tire around a 40" sooner or later, I almost have enough drivetrain to support em now.
Action Fab 09-27-2010, 07:54 PM cut out the front cross member then mocked up the grill and BeCool radiator to see where the winch will sit.
http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/1045/img5553j.jpg
then I started plating the front frame horns.
http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/1540/img5555v.jpg
http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/2115/img5554.jpg
Action Fab 09-28-2010, 08:02 PM Since I am only able to get 3-4 hours or work in every night progress is slower than I need it to be. But I did get a decent amount done tonight.
Finished the passenger front outer frame horn plating.
http://img693.imageshack.us/img693/811/img5556v.jpg
Stripped the passenger frame rail, cut off the mounts and pinch weld. Then ground it all smooth
http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/4120/img5557b.jpg
Started plating the inner frame horn. I did the inside with 1/8 and the out side and main rails will be 3/16.
http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/7451/img5559t.jpg
jrw7072009 09-28-2010, 09:45 PM Hell yeah its looks good so far, I will have to keep an eye on this build.
dumblucky 09-28-2010, 10:58 PM you are deffinitly one motivated fabricator thats for sure,,wheeled evey weekend ..sweet deal//
looks like you have all your ducks in a row,, thanks for the motivation
Action Fab 09-29-2010, 07:21 AM Well KOZ did a poor job of reinforcing the first jeep. When I finaly cut it up the front frame horns were bent 6" vertical. So my plan with this one is to plate it as well as I can so that I'm not rebuilding it in 4 years. I will also be adding a better cage that will keep the the cabe together unlike my EOR cage, which just pushed over and down when it rolled. My rigs get a lot more use than most since I am only 5 miles from superlift orv. So I tend to wear them out faster.
CTeunuch 09-29-2010, 05:24 PM I love your work, looking forward to seeing this done. Are you planning a chop top like the last one, or stock lines?
Action Fab 09-29-2010, 08:44 PM I love your work, looking forward to seeing this done. Are you planning a chop top like the last one, or stock lines?
I hated the chop top so this one will stay full body.
More plating

Then I spent an hour and a half cutting the driver side frame monts off and grinding it all smooth.

imtiredzzzz 09-30-2010, 09:38 AM http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/3271/img5564p.jpg
Are you going to weld your motor mount to the plating? or plate under the motor mount?
Great work btw... cardboard templates FTW!!
Action Fab 09-30-2010, 08:23 PM Are you going to weld your motor mount to the plating? or plate under the motor mount?
Great work btw... cardboard templates FTW!!
They go right up to the mounts and stop. If I plated under the mount it would space them away from the frame and if I welded it to them I wouldn't be able to get the motor in and out as easy. The way the mounts are bolted in they will hold that section of frame together just fine.

adamusmc2002 09-30-2010, 09:05 PM fuck man, i need to hire you to work on my shit! You do outstanding work, and you do it fast! I've been at mine for more than a year, and all i have is built axles to show for it...Just now gathering link parts/steel. Anyway, looks great, always a pleasure following your threads.
Action Fab 10-01-2010, 09:18 PM I just worked a 17 hour day, with only one being spent working on my jeep. So I didn't get much done.

jeepdude25 10-02-2010, 05:32 AM great build up so far!!! Im staying tuned....:smokin:
Action Fab 10-03-2010, 12:05 AM Started today by finishing the driver side outer plating.
http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/7789/img5594w.jpg
Then spent an hour and a half trying to cut out my old frame plating from my rear leaf conversion. I ended up having to cut the frame rail off. :mad3:
http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/1173/img5596x.jpg
here is the mess I have to fix.
http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/5892/img5598x.jpg
after that fiasco... I cleaned the bay up.

http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/147/img5601.jpg
45 minuts later
http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/9641/img5602.jpg
Action Fab 10-03-2010, 12:05 AM started plating the inner frame rail
http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/802/img5607un.jpg
then came the fun task of cutting out the rockers for the boat sides
http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/2158/img5611f.jpg
then added my 2x4x3/16" rocker
http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/6131/img5612r.jpg
then plated more frame and caped the bottom.
http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/8666/img5618u.jpg
http://img815.imageshack.us/img815/1076/img5622a.jpg
And then I spent the rest of the night finishing the bottom side of the front frame horn.
http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/2990/img5632vy.jpg
http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/717/img5636o.jpg
all of that took about 15 hours. :shaking: atleast tomorrow is another day.
cherokee kidd 10-03-2010, 08:19 AM All that plating looks great. Are you cutting it out by hand or do you have access to cnc plasma?
adamusmc2002 10-03-2010, 11:40 AM All that plating looks great. Are you cutting it out by hand or do you have access to cnc plasma?
no kidding, that shit would take me days and weeks, not 15 hours :)
Okie Terry 10-03-2010, 06:54 PM Looks like cardboard cutouts, measuring tape, and plasma torch.
The real man's way. ;)
barillms 10-03-2010, 09:38 PM This is gonna be one hell of a build. I love ZJs.
96_xj 10-03-2010, 10:17 PM wow! this is going to be a great build! subscribed!!
Action Fab 10-03-2010, 11:25 PM by hand... well plasma by hand.
I got less then I wanted done today, but I would have met my goal of getting all the frame plating done if I hadn't started the rockers... so its a wash. I still have 4 plates in the front drivers side to do then it will be ready for welding.

frame plating will be done tomorrow.
Action Fab 10-04-2010, 10:04 PM All of the frame plating is now done... just have to burn it all in.
http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/7108/img5650j.jpg
Then I started "modifying" the BeCool radiator. With the inner frame plating, it no longer fits. so the tanks must be nerrowed. It too still needs welded.

ashmanjeepXJ 10-05-2010, 12:43 PM Nice plating, The good news is youll probably have 6-pac abs after finishing all that over head welding... :flipoff2:
Action Fab 10-05-2010, 09:36 PM Nice plating, The good news is youll probably have 6-pac abs after finishing all that over head welding... :flipoff2:
I already do. :grinpimp:
Anyways... I ran out of wire so I only got to weld for about 45 minuts. So I started on the rear quarter panels. Where the jeep is now will be full bump. I knew that I wasn't stuffing a "True" 40 in that space without some mods. So out came the cutoff wheel, body saw, hammer and Whalah. plenty of clearance and nice smooth "NON-FLAPPY" fenders.
I started my stripping everything which took a little while since the jeep was full of parts and crap.
http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/1712/img5658s.jpg
cut me a big'ol hole

and now the tire clears
http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/7554/img5676l.jpg
here is the stance a full bump.
http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/4488/img5677um.jpg
I will of corse build new inner fenders when I am all done.
Tomorrow I will finish the welding. And if I have time finish the boat sides.
Thursday I will assemble the engine/trans/transfer and get them stabed into the jeep so that Fri, Sat. and Sun. I can mock up the axles and get all my link mounts built. SO... hopfully by Monday it will be a roller. IF I can do that I will be on scedual.

Action Fab 10-08-2010, 11:26 PM Well I worked a little late so I didn't get as much time to work on the jeep as I wanted.
I spent 4 fucking hours on the damn front plates for the boat sides. They were a pain in the ass.
http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/9668/img5719z.jpg
http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/8448/img5722b.jpg
Then I cleaned up a little and rolled the front axle under the jeep. It too was a pain in the ass... Actualy everything has been a PAIN IN THE ASS. I am building this SOLO. Which for most guys is fine, but when you are 6ft, and only weigh 125 lbs. It's pretty damn hard. Thankfully thats 125lbs of muscle since I have like 1% body fat. But I am still scrawny.
....Any ways onto more pics.

I will not be using the H2 wheels, so the width will be about 2" wider than what you see. since my bead locks are 17x8.5 4.5BS. I just need to get them mounted up.
http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/3585/img5737m.jpg
CTeunuch 10-09-2010, 06:01 AM Looks nice. Did you prime the inside of the boatsides first? If not, aren't you worried about rust?
Action Fab 10-09-2010, 08:48 AM No. I ment to. but honestly I'm not too worried about it. The jeep will look like the other one in a few years any way.
Toliver09 10-09-2010, 02:34 PM You should definately keep your templates for all the frame plating... I'd love to plate the whole frame of my ZJ.
Action Fab 10-10-2010, 10:11 AM I burned my retina so work was slow going. But I did get the axle in and mounted. Along with the skid plate modified and mounted.
the axle on this jeep is 3 inches further frorward then the other one. I plan to find another front fender to hack up so I can move the front of the flare forward a few inches.

My shop is in Hot Springs if you want to see it. Its off of Hwy 70 too which is were you will be coming from. Enless you come in on 270. Which still isnt a big deal since I am only 3.5 milles from their intersection

dozer_xj 10-10-2010, 09:53 PM Oh and I have been sick in bed all day and cant see out of my right eye, SO... no update. :(
im sure you know this but put raw potato slices on your eyes for the burns
Action Fab 10-10-2010, 11:14 PM Its not a flash burn. I had a red hot peace of slag fall into the center of my eye while I was cutting the holes for the skid plate in the frame. It went under my glasses and fussed my eye lash to the blue part of my eye. And between my body fighting off infection from that and the exhustion from working such long days, I got sick. Oh well after sleeping all day and getting some eye wash I am ready for Monday.
pipehitter155 10-11-2010, 03:22 AM Make sure your doctor keeps an 'eye' on that slag if its still in there. It will start to rust. I have the JOYFUL OPPORTUNITY of having some fucking doctor slice my eye open and stick some damn suction, vacumn thing in my eye and pull out shrapnel on Nov. 1st...As you can see, I'm just counting the days in anticipation and looking forward to it...Additionally, my doctor is like talking to Ben Stein...FML...
On a brighter note, your ZJ is looking AWESOME!!! The frame plating turned out tits...I'm supposed to go meet the misses 'grannie' in Van Buren or Ft. Smith...so I was going to make a trip down to Hot Springs ORV...how far away is that from either of those two places??
krawler57 10-11-2010, 06:33 AM Yah its 3/16". If you plan to cover it you could use 1/8"

I've had my eye drilled due to rust. Go to the doctor now, don't wait.
dcorn 10-11-2010, 10:03 AM I remember hearing about Jesse James having that same thing happen. Got a piece of welding slag in his eye, started to rust, and it got all fucked up. Definitely get that taken care of so we can continue to see your awesome work!
Action Fab 10-11-2010, 01:35 PM Well I just got home from the ophthalmologist. He first picked out the metal with a needle, then drilled the rust, then pollished the cornea. Hearing dremel noises in your eye is lots of fun. And now my eye REALLY herts. :(

the paint is not for sniffing...... carry on
Action Fab 10-13-2010, 12:26 AM Its sitting on its own weight in the rear. The ride hight will come up another inch when I add the coil isolaters. I still need to do some adjusting on the links and need to figure out some new shock mounts, but you get the idea.

pipehitter155 10-13-2010, 03:38 AM Is there a reason why you're not using airshocks or coilovers??? Just curious, you seem to be doing all this awesome work, just to be throwing in outdated technology...I figure if you're gonna do it, do it right the first time...I know coils will work, and they worked fine on my XJ...I did get tired of hearing the twang and clang, but other than that they did work good...this is not bashing, just curious...as always awesome stuff....nice beadlocks too...
:smokin:
Action Fab 10-13-2010, 08:39 AM MONEY. I am pulling the axles and redoing the suspensions next year so the skid plate all the links/mounts ext. will be differant. I will be doing coilovers of ORI's then.
AgitatedPancake 10-13-2010, 08:49 AM Here's another question for ya, what made you choose the single triangulated in the rear over double? Do the side effects like ...whats the term..uh flex steer and such ever bother you?
Action Fab 10-13-2010, 09:47 PM There isn't much flex steer, but they are not as stable and dont give enough side loead support. That is why KOZ had to go with full hydro. The drag link would push the front end arround. I really hate the suspension in this jeep. But due to time, I am just setting it back up the way it was. When I tear it down again I will rebuild both suspesnions with 3/link panhard front double Tri. rear . It will also get the axle shaved like I did the XJ along with coilover/airbump or ORI's. At that time I wiould also like to ditch the full hydro and go back to assist. Once I finish the Stage II XJ Donnie and I want to do a Ultimate Adventure type trip (or actuall go on UA if we get that lucky). But I will be gathering my parts and building a new motor, so once I get everything together and get some free time I'll tear it all back down and rework the jeep how "I WANT IT". After tearing this jeep down and really looking at what KOZ did, I can see that they were very rushed and kinda through tuff together so there has been alot that I have to re-engineer.
.
.
.
.
Got the coil mounts started, still need to finsh the bump stops but I need the tires for that and they are still being dismounted. SO... tomorrow when I get them back I will mount up the beadocks and finsh the bumpstops. Then Fri. I will finsh cutting the driver rear quarter, leaving me with the weekend to build the inner fenders, front bumper, finsh the boatsides, build my new rear shock moutns and bumpstops, and then pull the drive train back out so I can paint everything and put the new seals in the motor.

:smokin:
Action Fab 10-15-2010, 12:44 AM Though it's still one inch below ride hight, it's sitting on its own weight! It's got 4.5" RE springs now, instead of the 8" SJ that were on it before.

Toliver09 10-15-2010, 10:57 AM taking LCG to the next level. Any worries with only being able to have an inch or two of uptravel?
CTeunuch 10-15-2010, 03:17 PM Looking awesome, I love a built full bodied Grand. What are your plans for bumpers? Are you going to keep the cage inside, or go with an exo, or a 'hybrid'? Keep up the good work man, you're hauling through this.
Jeepinkid83 10-16-2010, 08:18 PM this rig and builder are gay.:flipoff2:
SquirrelPig 10-20-2010, 07:31 PM This is an awesome build! I love the frame plating...simply fabulous work! My ZJ want's to be like your ZJ when it grows up.
SquirrelPig 10-20-2010, 07:38 PM Oh, and the boatsides are sweet! Similar to what I have in mind...only yours are better.
krawler57 10-27-2010, 06:31 AM What happened??? did ya stop working on it?
SquirrelPig 10-27-2010, 11:54 AM What happened??? did ya stop working on it?
Yes, more details please! I want to see this finished product...as well as everything along the way.
Action Fab 10-27-2010, 08:50 PM What happened??? did ya stop working on it?
Yah, its been almost two weeks since I have been able to work on it.
As many of you know I opened my own shop about 6 months ago. And if any of you have ever started a new business, you know what starving is. Well about two weeks ago I had a turn in luck (A BIG ONE). I have been working nonstop since then. I am actualy making money for the first time since I opened, which is way more important right now. I am still backed up, so I won't be guiding the Jeep Jamboree eather.
But I am hoping to be cought up some time next week and will start back on it then. I have some friends coming up to the superlift park for thanks giving, so my goal is to have it done by then.

Glad to hear that your picking up Chris! I am going to install the rear frame stiffners that you made me this weekend. I already mocked them up and they look to be a perfect fit! You got skills for sure, so keep up the good work.
nota944mechanic 10-28-2010, 07:20 AM I'm really enjoying this build, thanks for the extensive progress pics.

xo_jeep 10-28-2010, 08:22 AM ....about two weeks ago I had a turn in luck (A BIG ONE)....
Details???? :D
(I can't handle the suspense you put us through)
spidr 10-28-2010, 01:59 PM Congrats. I can feel the pain on the shop, but a turn in luck is always a good thing. The Jeep will be there when you get time:D
It is looking killer by the way:smokin:
Action Fab 10-28-2010, 10:31 PM Details???? :D
(I can't handle the suspense you put us through)
just had a hole buch of work hit me at once. Motor swaps, tranny swaps, a transfer rebuild, a few rear end rebuilds, a few bumpers, some lift kits, a bunch of general repairs, and few other fabricarion projects. Just hole bunch or random stuff.
krawler57 10-29-2010, 03:11 PM I understand about the business..unfortunately its either feast or famine. Glad to hear all is well and look forward to more progress pics and info.
krawler57 11-10-2010, 08:39 AM Need some updated photos and info........can't stand the suspense!
PilotGuyZJ 11-11-2010, 01:42 PM very nice. I love the way you did the rear wheel wells. Im going to attemp the cut and roll VS. the cutoff wheel I was gonna use. Subscribing.
Action Fab 11-12-2010, 10:39 PM Sorry guys I just haven't had time to work on it. I had to hire another mechanic, and we are both working 12-14 hour days 7 days a week. Here it is 12:30 am and I am just getting home, and I am getting back up at 6:00 am so I can Lift a F-250 6 inches, tint the windows and get it aligned before noon. Then there is more work after that. But I am in no way complaining!
SO... some time when things smooth out I will get back to this and a few of the other (buddy) projects.
rajincajingt 11-16-2010, 01:16 PM great work as always chris.
but you got it right this time, make way for paying customers, keep the lights on, hire more help, get back to work on your shit...
we will see you next week.
mud_slinga 11-16-2010, 01:29 PM Just read your post, slick fab and cool build gives me motivation for mine. Getn shit in your eye sucks, I hate it! I just had the 5th chunk of metal taken out of my left eye, "saftey" glasses my ass
My Jeep Creeps 11-29-2010, 05:12 PM alright i'm loving this rig with every pic,
for the boatsides. its better to box the uni body in like you did, just to strengthen it up? how much of the rocker sides did you cut out?
climbit 11-29-2010, 05:26 PM nice ZJ.... I like the frame plating especially how you went on all 3 sides.
maybe I missed it, but what did you do to the rear where you cut the frame rail off?
subscribing.
Toyoland66 11-29-2010, 06:45 PM You, sir, have some skills
Best of luck, looking forward to some more progress
Gearhead 1990 11-29-2010, 06:58 PM That is some amazing work man! :smokin:
I like how you made the bottom of the frame flat. That is the route I want to take if/when I ever get another jeep... :shaking:
Looking forward to updates! Keep up the good work!
Pre4runner 02-16-2011, 08:41 PM The KOZ jeep was one of my all time favorites, james would put on a good show in it.
Yours is looking good also
ElkyRacer 02-23-2011, 05:29 PM Sad to see this isnt going to get finished, at least anytime in the near future. :( But, I understand, making money is kinda important.
Action Fab 02-23-2011, 07:12 PM Me too but if all goes well... It will be better than ever. I am talking about ORI's, 42" MTR kevlars and F&R spider 9's. But I promissed Donnie that I will finish his "Project Stage II" XJ first any ways.
Lifelong Jeeper 02-24-2011, 11:13 PM I love the work you've done. Subscribing for when you get it done.

You will soon find out that it will be NO breakfast, lunch and Ramen for dinner every other day. Only tap water and go ahead and cancel your cable.
raf2379 02-25-2011, 10:37 PM looks like the image host site is down, no pics. really interested to see this build.
Action Fab 04-03-2011, 09:08 PM Anyone interested in buying this chassis? I am just going to scrap the hole project and build a buggy... I'll take $2500 for it, I'm keeping the atlas, axles, drive shafts, steering, suspension, and fuel cell. everything else goes with it... I'll do $2k if I keep the engine, transmission, and engine harness too.
adamusmc2002 04-06-2011, 08:02 PM damn, too bad...buggy will be sweet tho, good luck. really liked the ZJ idea, but gotta do what suites you.
DeftwillP 04-07-2011, 07:17 PM Probably won't amount to anything but I'll post it up in the RRC chapter of naxja. Somebody might wanna pick it up.
EndorphinJunky 04-08-2011, 07:49 AM Nice work. Too good to be true.
Have fun in your buggy in the winter. :flipoff2:

black4x4 06-30-2011, 07:42 PM was the back axle in the stock location or moved back and if moved how far back was it. also if moved back is the upper spring mount still in the stock location
Action Fab 07-04-2011, 12:01 PM moved back 4 inches. and yes stock frame mounts
I would take $1000 for the chassis/engine/trans/title. basicly I'll unbolt the axles and suspension and you load it on your trailer.
black4x4 07-04-2011, 12:14 PM thank for the answer
If I would of know you would sell it for that price 3 weeks ago you would have a buyer
terleira 07-04-2011, 01:35 PM Nice work you are doing there.
:)
xo_jeep 07-05-2011, 01:18 PM Love this thing. Sad you won't be able to finish it. Just sent you a message.
Action Fab 07-06-2011, 08:20 PM Yup! I'm pretty upset about the hole thing... But it's life. At least if I sell it, some one will get it on a trail. I just have more pressing projects to get done first. Plus I traded the axles for a built TJ. So I have something to wheel which gives me less motivation.
Action Fab 07-09-2011, 12:26 PM Looks like the ZJ is sold... pending payment
xo_jeep 07-09-2011, 01:17 PM Looks like she's coming to Cali!
We'll keep the build going.

Him: The good news is he sold it to me

Tyler, who bought it?
xo_jeep 07-12-2011, 03:19 PM My buddy Kyle from Salinas. He wanted to build a WJ like Adam's but I told him this was a better deal. Half the work is already done and he doesn't have to cut up his daily driver. He already has a 60/14 so it should work out perfect.

X100 that's what I was thinking Action fab has some ridiculous fab skills.
xo_jeep 07-18-2011, 07:46 AM That's why we're driving from California to pick it up. Even after gas and everything, it's still a great deal for a caliber of build you just don't see too often.

bg4mrc 02-04-2012, 09:55 PM So parts have been ordered and I am waiting on them now.
Front truss for the 60 from Blue Torch
JJ's and DOM from Poly
need front and rear springs
Pulled the motor today and am going to go through and reseal everything and replace all the sensors. I won't be able to keep up with the speed that Action fab had going on this thing but i hope I can keep up the quality. I'll do my best to keep pics up to date. As for right now the plan is to get the axles and suspension underneath it.
Action Fab 02-22-2012, 11:31 AM Hell yeah!!! Glad to see her getting some love again. I found an old ad with a picture of it being used as a promotional rig back in the 90's pretty cool that she's still kicking.
EndorphinJunky 02-28-2012, 02:04 PM It's tough to tell in this picture but I think it's the best one.....did you cut off the seam that is located on the bottom of the unibody "framerail" that sticks out on the inside? It starts at the factory crossmember and stops near the factory LCA mount..
I'm preparing to plate ~80% of my "framerails"..you're pics are going to help
http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/4120/img5557b.jpg
edit:
I'm guessing you must have..
http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/6583/img5681l.jpg
And how'd you mount the bottom of the front fenders after doing the rockers..?
Action Fab 02-29-2012, 09:32 AM Yeah I cut that seam off.
And I hadn't done it yet. But the plan was to add a tab and just bolt it to the rocker.
EndorphinJunky 02-29-2012, 10:51 AM Cool, thanx for the reply..ya I guess it should be pretty easy to just add a little z-shaped tab or 2 inside the fender....and then extend the front flare a few inches..
The more I look at the pics the more and more the plating looks freakin awesome... it all tied together with the boatsides really nicely....I've now officially read this entire thread 6 times. :flipoff2:
Hope business is going good..
Chuck
bg4mrc 03-12-2012, 07:05 PM Got the truss in this weekend. 12" sway away coil overs and all of the link goodies. Should be putting the front axles on sometime in the next month...
