Titanic 10-30-2002, 07:42 PM I'm rebuilding a T-400 and would like to use a heavy duty sprag-(34 element) I also have. I need to find a drum that came in stock T-400's in 1965-1969. Not sure what vehicles this tranny came in but I bet it was behind a big block. Any help would be appreciated-local dealer said it was a discontinued part. Steve mnstr_fx 10-31-2002, 06:55 PM The drum is from the older TH400's. It did not have to be behind big blocks. It is just a year thing. Go to a yard and start looking for an older TH400. Or, go to a tranny shop and see if they have one laying around. Places like Coan racing transmissions also sell an aftermarket one, but that is cost prohibitive :flipoff2: You really don't need one which costs THAT much. | |
