Lower proving grounds. Night run. A little too far to the right in a v-notch. Oops! No major carnage, just some cool custom stripes and some dents.

No that's my bud Joe Daro from Phoenix. He has a sweet 98 and has about as much fear of heights as I do. You should have seen us pussies dropping down to line up for Hell's Gate.

I saw one of those dogs at the park here that was died friggin' PINK.

Oh. Nice cherokee, too... It's good 'n' simple. And the roof rack is definitely big enough. :flipoff2:

Why is it that I was directly behind you on both of those flops:rolleyes: ? Good to see there are other people out there with as little disregard for XJ sheetmetal as me:D Of course waiting for a spotter at night would be a good thing:flipoff2: I feel bad about the LPG flop, I shoulda been out front.

Ya gotta HAVE sheetmetal to have disregard for it...... what's left on yours? A couple of fenders and the hood?

Having said that......... MOAB ROCKS! (pun intended.) Got my pics back last week, just gotta scan them in.

Yup, that's me.

You missed a good time - Fall Fling RULZZZZ.

Moab must be really tough, I actually broke one of my "indestructible D35 shafts" - many thanks to EasyXJ for the help. No I don't wan't to start a flame war about the "strength" of the D35.

I missed the shots of Sean P at Hells Gate, I fawked up and only have a shot of Mil's backside as they got you rubber side down. You eyes still tell the story though.

Yeah, I designed the rack to be a couple inches wider than the roof. I definately used it as a slider in Moab. This winter I will tie the EXO into the rack.

SeanR: Don't worry about the spotting, I needed to get those flops out of my system. I feel much better now, thank you.

Jason: Good idea on the avatar, its 22K not 5K. Don't know how to make it smaller and still have it be recognizable.

JohnJohn's video's rock. I don't want to start the dreaded long vs short arm debate - so just say your rig rocked. It is good to see more and more guys driving the XJ to beyond the limit.

Thanks for the welcome :flipoff2:

Cool, I am at the point of counting the days. Trying to stuff two axles under the XJ first. The 60 just needs the spring perches welded on but the front needs a whole mounting steering, braking system.

BUT the plasma cutter arrived today so all the brackets and shiat should b e done byt next week, gear and locker install the next, then test.

probably be working nights now til then to get ready but hell or high water we will be there. Plus I get a night in Las Vegas on the way. will be there Thurs efternoon.

I asked because it looks exactly like my dog..

My wife bought me a giant (supposed to be a little bigger than a standard) poodle puppy for valentines day this year....

My jeeping buddy gives me crap about wheeling with my dog..(poodle)..
I printed your picture last nigt and showed it to him....and told him I'm not the only one!!

I've only taken my dog wheeling once so far... she's still a puppy and a little hyper, I'm affraid she'll do something stupid or run-off....

Here's a picture from when she was only 4 months old...

SeanP

I get a lot of shit for having the poodles. Most people think:rainbow: when I say I have poodles. My bigger one stands 30" at the shoulder and weighs 90 pounds. They are pretty smart dogs and don't shed or create dander (that's why we got them because wife is allergic to most dogs). They figure out how to stay out of the way. On the hot days, they like to lie under the jeep when it is stopped which makes me always know where they are before I start rolling again. On the hardcore runs, I leave them at home unless the wife is with us to keep an eye on them.

Here's a pic from Johnson Valley this spring. This will be our Christmas card photo this year.
