: Nice new Trailrady TJ bumper.....
Mieser 09-23-2001, 04:14 PM I thought this was a decent design....as long as you don't want a spare tire back there.

Here is a good detail shot of the corner. I like the d-ring mount and the way the corners are tucked up and around.

I wonder how heavy it is?
Currie also has some new stuff out too. I will try and get some pics.

An easy way is to open them in paint, stretch function and reduce them, then save as a JPG. Ususally reduces CONSIDERABLY in size...and its easy with a program almost every computer has.

tail light black outs?
jeepster1220 09-24-2001, 10:28 AM Very nicely done, but I wonder what the shipping charges are on a 360lb bumper <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
murrar1 09-24-2001, 11:58 AM It looks like it was made for an XJ.
Does it really weigh over 300lbs?

That's what we call "sarcasm" in these parts <IMG SRC="smilies/laughing.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">
I'll bet it's a good 80-90lbs though
Mieser 09-24-2001, 12:06 PM I don't think it is 300lbs, though it can't be too light. Looking around there site, I would guess that it is under 100 lbs. I think the main portion of the bumper is only 10-7 guage ( about 3/16 or 1/8 ).
The ARB front bumper is 72 pounds, trailreadys is about 80-90.

nasvik 09-24-2001, 01:50 PM Nice work, but what a HUGE piece of metal! If you're hitting your bumper and corners chop 'em off to get them out of the way! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

RoCkSkuLLz 09-24-2001, 02:30 PM Personally I think the bumper looks like a big steel piece of shit! just my .2$
And as far as the brown things go. Its probably trailready's tire carrier mounting bracket. Its a quick disconnect setup.
