Hopefully this is the right section but did anybody have a trailmaster lift on their truck before they did a SAS? If anybody here did and they still have it I will take it off of your hands. Thanks.

I had/have one in my truck. It was a 3", but when I went to the 1ton axels I cut down the mounts and turned it into a 1.5" lift.

I believe it was only $124 cunkistainian when i bought mine, so you should just look into a new kit.

Oh and be prepared to spend a whole damn day if its the first body lift you've put in a Nissan.

The trailmaster lift is a 4" SL lift not a BL.

To my knowledge that kit has been discontinued. I'm guessing that's why you're looking for a used one?

I wouldn't really recommend the kit being that the torsion bars will hang low below the frame with that kit.

You're better of with a 3" lift similar the one made by calmini.
If you need to go bigger and keep the IFS, you're only option is to get a body lift. If you're going to go with larger than 33" tires you'll need to cut the fenders.

Actually trailmaster makes both, I guess I miss understood his question.

I have (had) a 3" trailmaster Body Lift in my pathy.

If it was the 4" suspension you were going for then I'd reccomend the 4x4parts.com (automotive customizers) 3" suspension lift, the trailmaster lift is just nothing but drop brackets and big ole rock hangers hangin out from underneith your rig.

That Trail Master kit was discontinued a long time ago.

Trail Master was aquired about 5 years ago by Performance Automotive Group, who also owns Performance Accessories, who makes a 3" body lift.

I have both the 4" Trailmaster suspension lift and the 3" Trailmaster body lift on my '91 Pathfinder. IIRC the Pathfinder and Hardbody P/U part numbers were different for the suspension lift.
