Looking for some info on these passes. Wondering if you could make a loop out of them and run them together in one day. Would park on the Aspen side and do a loop from there. Is the road to Creste Butte long and fast. My jeep is street legal but not meant for much over 45-50mph. Is there a better loop to connect Taylor Pass with something else that would bring you back to Aspen Area. Have a mostly stock XJ coming with us. He has a lift and bigger tires. Any insight would be great.

You could but taylor pass starts over by taylor reservoir and taylor park. You would have to drive south to Almont then towards taylor. It's a little ways away from Crested Butte.
