I wish i had a trailer and a few hundred bucks for gas/parts. That's like my dream truck for tow rig.

If you found a $100 IH around you, you'd have to take it off with a SHOVEL!

Well this seems to be a better place to tell my story and why I'm selling the truck.

Ok, so way back when I was 8 years old or so, my dad bought that truck and used it as a daily driver for a year or so. And after replacing the original axles three times he located a set of disc brake axles from a 74 3/4 ton dodge and we put them in. After a couple months of trying to figure out why the wheel bearings where killing themselves he finally realized the axle housing was bent, so it was backed into the spot and parked.

When he died in 2004 it was left to me and I was going get it running again and replace the axle and use it as a cheap daily driver. Fast forward to last week I was fixing a guys CJ when his mother asks me if I wanted a 62 scout and all that needed to be done was put the rear end together and throw it back on and drive away, so that is where I am currently at. a rust free and free 62 scout is worth more to me then the c120, although I really hate to see it go.

Hey Hoov, I think everyone on this board thinks that that rig is a steal for 100 but none of us so far are close enough or can take it. Go to binderplanet.org and you will have a lot more binder guys to look at it. As for your 62 read the faq at the top of the page and you will hopefully look at some more modern axles for your scout.

Alright, I just posted it up there. I'm not worried about modern axles yet, just trying to get it driving.
