i have a 95 nissan hardbody and its a ka24e 4 cyl. 5 speed 2wd and this truck has a lot of meaning to me and i never want to get rid of it but it was my uncles dream to make it a 4x4 before he passed and i want to fulfill his dream. i was wondering if this tranny supports a transfer case and if so what kind can i bolt to it i here the tx-10 has issues and was wondering if there were and other i could use. i have the front suspension all planned out i just need to see if i can still use this engine since he has taking such good care of the engine. he was a mechanic and did amazing work and this car was his baby. please help

Find a 4cyl 4wd transmission/transfer case and bolt it in. Pretty simple, easier than trying to convert your 2wd tranny... As for the tx-10's, they are pretty much bullet-proof... the newer ones have some chain stretch issues, but not the older ones...

so any 4 cyl tranny will match up to the ka24e engine? its hard to find these parts
