I am currently PLANning my SFA conversion on my Tahoe, and I thought that I would finally talk, and ask a question or 2. I want coilover with 4 link, and my plans so far are as follows...

two lower links (traction bar types)
1 upper link in the middle of the axle
panhard (same length and angle of drag link if possible)

but the rest I am not sure of. I am doing the research and have been searching the site for a long time about it. I am curious as to how to set up the upper shock mounts? And if you see anything wrong with this plan?

I've seen similar setups (as the pics above) on front axles and it works as long as you can get clearance for the upper arm and oil pan. The need for a panhard is eliminated with this geometry (in fact, you CAN'T use one), but you'll want everything real beefy so that your axle stays put (side to side) when turning.
