Hi guys! I'm David and I'm writing from Italy. This is my first 3d on this fantastic community. First to all... sorry for my english and some difficulties the explain my project. :shaking:
In my country, 4x4 buggy and extreme modification from standard veichles are not easy to do, we have a poor experiece and professional figure for do it. This type of job, for you americans are easy... in Italy is a waste of money, and the resut are not guarantee. :D
My project is based on the a little butget, a large amount of hoping and self made working. I'm not a mechanic, I'm a boy with large passion in 4x4 sice young age. What I'm looking for? A buggy for fun and for do "hard" trail without problem for damage and braking.
The projct start from a Nissan Patrol 160, with 3.3 litre 6 cylinder inline diesel engine. The final is have a orginal chassis, with 8 point rollbar (2 1/4" DOM pipe), swapped axle with Patrol Y60 series (rear with OEM and front with ARB lockers), 36-10.50" tyres, 4 link rear link with 2.5" airshocks, front 3 link with airshocks or coilover, WB up to 100" :p
Project starts from another man that do some steps, and after I've continued the work.
I will show some pics (not from the origins... but not too late) of over an year of job:

New custom drivershaft (rear wide angle, front double CV from transfer)

Now, the front axle fitting with airshocks/coilover is suspended... no money, no time... waiting for this, moving up the axle leaf spring:

In this moment, the situation is this... I'm waiting the steering bar and complete the pneumatic connections (lockers and compressor).

It's all... impressions, comments, criticisms? :barf:

They are retreated tyres, size 9.00x16... equal to 36-10.50", good grip... but the weight is too high (54kg). I would take the Bogger 38-13" when this actual tyres are over.

I admire your initiative, bro.

Thank you! I know that my buggy is nothing in front of your USA made... but for me, it was a great challange done this! Now, I'm waiting for done the test on trail.
