I just prurchased a 71 scout pick up and want to throw the drivedrain out of my sister first totaled car a 4.3 blazer inbween the frame rails. The trucks are both 2 wheel drives. I am looking for some store bought motor mounts to drop the 4.3 in. I believe 350 mounts will work just the same, someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Also i will be using the 4l60e and 10 bolt rear end unless y'all have a better plan.

I got the ones for my 500 caddy Scout from Tin Man, search is your friend. Look at the hand controlled Scout, it has a 350 in it. There are pictures of the frame and motor mounts there.:homer:

I read somewhere a 4.3 won't work in a Scout, something about the muffler bearings having some galvanic reaction to the cast material IH used for the frame....:flipoff2::flipoff2:

why are people charging a mint for motor mounts?

I really like the cradle, but why cant they make them with poly mounts for a resonable price? At least i couldnt find any after searching for them. I looked at the cradle mount after reading brandons thread, but just dont want rubber.m (sorry, brandon and I have ford motors, so I dont know if the cheby stuff is different or not, but the SBF poly mounts are 125 bucks)
