To All:

The 2010 WFTW Event has been postponed until 2011 (Date to be announced). Hopefully it will be the same weekend at the Famous Tin Bender Jambo.

Hopefully everyone knows the point of emphasis with these events is to show the highest gratitude to our Nation's Heroes. To put on an event that does anything less would be an insult to their sacrifice to our Country.

It is with heavy hearts and with much thought that Kevin Carey and myself have decided to postpone the Hammer's event untill 2011. The lack of Veterans in attendance was obviously the deciding factor. By postponing the event until next year we feel very confident that we will be able to stage an event worthy of the standards that we set for ourselves. Thank you so much for your willingness to participate and we hope that will join us 2011.

I think we can have a much better event if we can coincide this with the Bender Jambo. We'll have more time to get Vets lined up and there will be an infrastructure in place:)

I want to thank all you guys. I am very confident that 2011 will a huge success. With the tinbenders on board we have a great partnership on which to build.

Man, I was looking forward to that weekend!

I've got a couple of acdu Marines lined up to come out with me. Hopefully they'll be available for '11.

Sorry all............By making this tough decision now we can have a "Gold Standard" event in the spring.

If there was ever an amicable reason for postponing an event, this is it.

I'll be out of state by then, but Dolphin Gal and I will do everything we can to make it back and bring her Father.
