Can you say "Turbo Diesel". Anything else is going to loose HP at alttitude because of the lower atmospheric pressure. Turbo's will help make up the difference in pressure by turning faster since there is less friction(lower air density). I think the rule is 4% HP loss per 1K feet.

Yeah, I've had gas turbo's up here over the last twenty years, and they are wonderful. The only trouble is that turbo diesels come wrapped in vehicles that are way larger than I need. The new 6.0 in an Expedition would be about perfect.
