Yep, you forgot to bleed the muffler bearings first by the sound of things.
And since you didn't bleed them, you'll need to replace them.
Here's a link for a reasonable price: http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=10

So after you replace those, make sure to top off your blinker fluid.

Now once all that is completed, head over to binderplanet.com where they'll tell you how to bleed your brakes and even hold your hand while you fuck it up.
Now head back to your chevy and leave us the fuck alone.

You need to replace your petal with a pedal.

How do you know fluid is being shot out of the res? are you bleeding without the cover?

Its a 72 so it shouldnt even have disks. What MC do you have? what brakes are they? what state are you in so I can avoid you on the highway?

I'm all for DIY, but sometimes it's best to admit that you don't know what the fawk you're doing and take it to a pro. :flipoff2:

There is a valve on the proportioning valve that needs to be pulled out when bleeding or shit don't work.

Loosen a brake line on the MC and push on the pedal a few times. If air comes out the MC had a bubble, if only fluid comes out thats good news. Repeat for the other line. Some people use a power bleeder with brakes. Since HF did not exist when I was a kid, you will just have to go old school and open the bleed screw at the pass rear, then drivers rear, then pass front and finish up with drivers front. Attach vacuum tube to bleeder screw and pump brakes until you have at least an 1" in the catch can. I use a small plastic bottle with some metal washers in the bottom so it won't fall over. The idea is that air can't get back into the system as the catch can has fluid in it. Finish up with a bag of kitty litter, since its oil it will spill. Fact of nature that can't be over come.

Oh I would not recommend a test drive on the freeway, might want to see if they work at low speeds first.
True story: I changed the brakes on my sister in laws car and asked her to drive around the block and test them out. Well about 15 minutes went by and I got a bit concern as its only a city block. She decide to take it for a test drive the freeway first:rolleyes:

Since no one has yet to give you the best advice, go to binderplanet.com they will be happy to help you. I guess the alternative is we turn this into the "Mister Helpful Forum to aid clueless DAN's" and just open up the forum to any basic stupid topic that any dufus wants to bring up:shaking:

Got a unique problem here, I have no visible leaks...no loss of braking yet for some reason the brake fluid from the MC keeps vanishing without a good reason.
Here's the kicker though, it only will disappear from the front half of the reservoir over a period of 3 days or so.
Lets here some ideas.

roflcopter!

As for that, I never did find a reason for it.
It just stopped as quickly as it started.
