I bet that was the FIRST time the owner ever went "off roading"...

Notice the nice shine... had to be the first mud puddle he saw that day. GOOD FIND!

Wow.. I'm just used to finding Jeep PARTS in the woods, not whole Jeeps! :p

Actually, a friend of mine is buying one.. after sinking $10K into his Tacoma pickup, he found the Jeep to be better for the moderate wheeling he does. All it needs is a small lift and 33's to be decent.

Mud sucks.

Hey, cut the guy some slack -- he appears to have made it at least 8 inches into the water hole before he got stuck...

sad thing is, the vehicle is probably a bit capable, the driver was just inept.....

remember, it's not what you drive, it's whether or not you know how!

either way tho....TOO Funny!!!

I agree, but seriously, I don't see why he's stuck. I know, hard to tell from photos -- see below, tell me why my 55 is asleep on her side.

But still, even if he goes into the hole unlocked, and sticks it, lock it up and drive it out. Crappy tires maybe.

Where's that pic from. I'm originally from Sugar Land and I didn't know there were any places to "wheel"..... even though it looks like it's just mud.

Somebody should have gotten a shot of the odometer to see how many miles it had on it :-D

Or yanked it out and pulled it off the trail so the driver would be like, WTF when he got back :flipoff2:

Doesn't even look like he slung any goo attempting escape...

I've heard a pig can be taught to roll over and play dead?
Maybe yours knows this trick?
What's gonna be bad is when his t case goes out, and Chrysler finds "mud or water" inside and informs the owner this is not covered under his warranty.

Nah, not much mud at Tellico, rocks either...

I guess there may be an obstacle under there that really has him high centered, you may be right.

Me too. The question then is, do they know they even have them? Wouldn't surprise me to find out the answer is no.

Shit, i've gone through mud pits 3-4 feet deep in the fj-62, all longer than that one. My best guess is that he tried to crawl through it, and gave up to quick and sunk. With 31" tires thats possible, but then again, thats the size on my 62 but mine are only toyo open country at's, agressive, but still at's, arnet the rubicons supposed to come with MTR's or something? Im sure it was definately jus the driver, and not a bunch of kids mind u, kids would get scared and jus floor it, thats what i did my first time, course i havent gotten stuck yet, JUST SUCKED MUD INTO THE ENGINE, lol, yet it still runs fine, never heard that from a jeep boy.

I'd bet the dude doesn't know he has lockers. Plus, don't they come with a winch too? Guess he does know what that spool of cable is for.

TJK - WTF - way cool man. Was it like a turned over turtle that couldn't get up? No, not you, the truck :flipoff2:

Hey, come awn,...every one makes mistakes,....notice mine(stock, no lockers, 30" GSA's)

The throttle position sensor went out along with the A/C clutch, but that's what the warrenty if for. After we yanked it out of the water, I let everything drain, started bumping it to see if it really wanted to start, after four or five bumps, it cough a couple of times, so I floored it and turned it over, it started right up and shot a couple of gallons of water out of the muffler. It idled normally and drove home fine. The next day was when it started acting funny(enough time for the water to get into stuff), so I brought it in to the dealership and they fixed it.

I didn't expect the water to be that deep. When we got home, my little girl(3) told her momma "water was coming alllllll in the jeep"

It was one of those "bet you won't hit it" holes:D :D

No mud in front tread....looks like they never spun a front tire...so it must be in 2WD...

Went up Antero in CO and a Jeep Sahara passed us...later we passed him on side of trail---overheated...he had it in 4HI the whole time and didn't know what 4LO was...we "helped" him learn a bit....that jeep only 500 miles on it....bought it in Salida area and went up Antero the next weekend to impress his neighbors....LOL...the neighbors were more impressed with OUR rigs...they thought my runner was cute and couldn't believe my brother was running a fullsize longbed ford up there....
