Do any of you w/ the semi-float, non c-clip rear axles pack the outter bearings with grease or do you just fill w/ fluid and run them? I had someone tell me that they pack them, but I don't recall doing it before.

i don't and havent......

i dont pack them, but put a light coating of grease on the outside of the bearing.
