Hey guys, I have a nissan pathfinder 2wd and its my daily driver over my K5 Wheeler... However, its been sitting for a good coupler months and wouldn't start so i put a new battery in it and now it starts right up! except nothing else works except for the headlights??? The tail lights, blinkers, gauges, AC, radio, clock all don't work so I figure maybe you guys can help me get to a start a figure this thing out...

I checked the fuses under the dash and they are all good, I don't think there are anymore fuses anywhere else... I know there are in the engine compartment but I don't think thats what could be wrong.

Any advice would be extremely helpful, I just really need this thing back on the road to save me some money on gas! My k5 eats all my money :(

Sounds like it could be a bad ground somewhere. Corrosion on the terminals?

It does have corosion on the terminals but I've cleaned them off and everything, where would a bad ground be? The headlights still work so I dunno what's up

Sounds like something didn't get hooked up, or a main fuse blew.

A main fuse? I didn't see any other fuses but relays under the hood... sucks!

Does it have little fuses on the cable at the terminal? My 05 has 2 separate ones there.

i think you blew a fuse ... cause on my old acura i put new taillights in and accidently pinched the parking light lead ... didnt have any other lights than headlights after that int or ext

Yeah I dunno if they are fuses they look like plugs or something... so those are fuses?

Was it a fuse off of the terminal on the battery?

IIRC, there is a box in the engine bay (passenger side) that houses relays and main fuses. Any of the fuses in there blown?

check fuses at the junction block, left side of dash. "cabin" or "interior" fuse possibly. hope this helps.

There is a little skinny box with 3 relays in it and 2 little 15 amp fuses, is that what ur refering too? Bc those fuses weren't blown...

What year Partsfinder? If it's a 80's-90's then it has fusible links at the pos. cable end. They are wires, red and green. They could be blown, you have to pull on 'em just a little to see if the wire is burnt in two inside the coating.

Its a 95 2wd stick... when I get a chance I will look at that and double check

There are just plugs there at the terminal... No fuses there at all

This is what I see, those little plugs that come off the terminal

Then there is a fuse box on the side wall of the engine bed that houses 4 relays and 2 fuses both for the right and left front headlights. There is another fuse box located inside by to the left of the steering wheel and none of those are blown...

WTF?????

Good news! One of those wires were blown so there was no connection after the terminal, simply added a wire in there to make the connection and everything is working now except the radio, lol... which is a start!
