hi my name is dylan and i have a 1990 nissan hardbody. so far i have bobed the bed and cut 6 inches out for a better decent angle without smaking my bumper. i have cut all the IFS off and have made a custom leafspring hanger. the axle is hanging and the front of my truck is massive because i have not got my rear springs yet. but this is it.

Why so tall? With that short of wheelbase, and that much lift, anything off-camber is going to suck.

im not sure even with out the huge body lift i think it will be a little too tall, depends on what you want to use it for, and personaly i would work a little more with you homemade spring hanger, just my $.02

Its been awhile sence I've posted. The nissan now has a dana 60 close knuckle and a dana 60 semi floter in the rear. The rear frame has been choped off and rebuilt with 2x6 box tubing with a fuel cell tucked up inbetween the rails. It also has full hydro steer. These pictures are with my bosses 38s. I haven't picked up any of my own yet. I'm haven't trouble finding 16.5 tires that arnt militarys. http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/55672976@N03/6997566440/ http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/55672976@N03/7143654197/. I haven't got any pictures of the new rear frame yet buti do have pictures of the new front end. I did duel head lights from an 86 chevy with projectors and primed the truck for a fresh coat of paint. I'm stating to regeret the "face lift" tho. Let me know what you guys think. Never mind the dually tires http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/55672976@N03/7143640025/

the bob looks good, you should do something about these rear shackles before you do any more body work, they look at least a foot long with no lateral brace

Why a passenger drop axle? I guess you don't plan on using 4 wheel drive?

The axle ii used to have under it was passenger side and my truck. Is really driver side drop so when I got 3/4 ton axles I got a drivers side drop so I wouldn't have to run a divorced transfor. And what do you mean lateral bracing?

weld something in between them and/or shorten them. A shackle that long applies a huge amount of torque to everything

I will be sure to do that. They were temporary because I don't have rear lift springs. But I think they will be there for quite some time. Thank you for the info
