Just passing it along. Pismo Jim told me about www.tirerack.com and the good luck he has had with them. I bought a spare 37x12.5x15 Goodyear MTR for $167ea plus $19 handling and shipping to my door thats only $186. Just passing it along if anyone is interested.........

I ordered a set of 5 last week from Tirerack. Just over $900 and they were on my porch in two days. They e-mailed and called me for confirmation within minutes of placing my order and e-mailed me when they were shipped. My head spun. Good service! Good tires and a good price!

While we're laying it on thick...
Heck with shipping tires to MY door. I often have them shipped directly to my friendly neighborhood tire store where they mount, balance and install them for about 10 or 12 bucks each.

I got mine at Americas Tire for just over $210 with tax, lifetime mount/balance, AND on/off-road hazzard warranty (good till 2/32" tread remaining). I'll gladly pay a bit more for the peace of mind that comes with the hazzard protection. I have brought a punctured 35" tire in covered in mud and with the manzanita still hanging out of the gash in the sidewall, and the only question America's ever asks is "Did ya have fun and do you want another Hazzard Cert. with your replacement tire?"
This way I get new tires when I either wear them out or decide I want something new, as opposed to replacing spares when the rocks or roots grab one of my radials ;) :D

I've never used Tire Rack for off road tires, but I had good service when I was into Euro Trash cars. Discount Tire just closed up shop here in Idaho. They have sort of left a lot of folks high and dry with road hazard. The company that picked up their warranty work doesn't stock the tires I bought and they don't offer road hazard for anything over a 31" tire. ARGHHHH!
