We are thinking of doing a day run from Eagle entrance to committee. How is the snow situation? Is the trail in a runable condition?

Thanks,
Tim

You could make it through, unless you where in a 4dr JK on 37s, then you might have a problem!:D Either way it will be chilly!

IMO most of the trail is about average the difficulty level at any given time. In fact WH1 and 2 seem easier than other times. X2 on the cold and wet. Plan for an overnight just in case.

Great time up there. A lot more snow than I had expected. We ran from committee up to Meadow and back. We saw a full size Dodge being towed out the "new committee route" by a Toyota. They made it just fine. Meadow had about 12 to 18 inches of snow. It was a great day run and probably the last run of the year.

We ran from Eagle lakes to committe with 4 rigs yesterday. Great trip with a lot of water on the trail. Started at 10am and didn't get back to Cisco until 6pm. The ice and water adds a whole new dynamic to the trail. Ran the new bailout after dark, this and the new mudhole reroute are some of the most fun sections of the trail these days (IMO).:grinpimp:
