Hello Tansloth,
I have one brand new in the box ready to go in my 40. I am still working on my 4 runner, but it is next on the project list. I was originally lead to believe that it was just a bolt up with my non-usa 4spd. Now that i have it, i see that the transmission output shaft needs to be replaced with the one supplied in the kit... also need to work out a support for the beast. My friend has one bolted to the SM420 which did not require the new shaft. Don't know how he likes it yet....

I have had mine in for a better part of two months. So far it's been working great. I have it with three speed tcase/sm420/4.88's with 38.5sx's. The gearing at 80 to 1 before was good but there was times when I wanted more. The final crawl ratio now is somwhere around 270 to 280 to 1. 1st is to slow except going down steep shelfs but 2nd and third wheel great. My only beef is my tranny hump is swiss cheese. :D .I need to get a red star still but if you want I can email some pictures to anyone to post.
