Does anyone happen to know the NADA value of an '89 FJ62 in good condition?

Thanks- Scary

Edmunds (http://www.edmunds.com) does show the older vehicles.

For fun, with 150K miles.... came up with $1700 trade in value, $2800 private party, $4100 on a dealers lots! [KBB shows $5200].

Looked at the '95 Land Cruisers (need something with 6+ seats) and they are WAY DOWN compared to a year ago. (Private Party $13,200.... dlr $15,600)

Kelly Blue Book (http://www.kbb.com) has the craziest prices I have ever seen for "retail value". KBB dealer price shows $19,435 on the '95 cruiser. Only use I can figure for KBB is so a used car lot can show you what a great deal you are getting!

Are you buying or selling? Either way stop in your credit union to see what they use. NADA Yellow Book is common, my credit union will allow up to 100% of NADA value for a loan.

Too bad they don't show prices for 'converted' vehicles. My FJ62 only has 15,000 miles w/ the 350 Vortec crate motor.

It's probably a good thing, most conversions (though a Vortec might now count...) make the vehicle lose value.
