short question:
is it necessarry to disassemble the hubs to remove the axle shafts on front yota axles?
or can i pull them out with the hubs on them?

i wanna pull them out to remove the coil-setup and weld some spring-pads on them for my zuk.

Yep, you have to at least take the cap off the hub, to get to the snap ring on the end of the stub. If you're taking it apart the "normal" way, you'll have to take the body off as well, to get to the spindle nuts.

This should tell you pretty much everything you need to know to pull Toy axles apart:

Also, if I read this correctly, you're simply cutting off the mounts for a coil sprung application, and welding on pads to mount leaf springs.

If this is true, then there is no reason to take the axles apart. Welding on a fully assembled axle won't hurt anything. There's no reason to take it apart just for this.

yeah i know i could leave them on, but i could work better (dont have to worry not to hurt the knuckles...) and it would be the cleaner way...

i also have to remove the 3rd, cause it leaks
and i have to change the breaks because the guy i got the axles from had them laying vertically and all the oil went over the breaks and they are unusable..
good that i payed only 200EUR for them.
