Who's gonna make this event? Should be a wide variety of wheelers and rigs, getting together to help out those less fortunate. Info and directions to Badlands can be found .HERE (http://www.badlandsoffroad.com/)

Badlands Off Road Park in Attica Indiana is hosting this event on Saturday, December 7, 2002. You bring a new unwrapped toy and recieve discounted or FREE entry to the park. Same goes for the riders/passengers. This is a rain or shine event, and all 4x4's, motorcycles and atv's are welcome.

I have seen on other forums, local clubs that are rounding up their members for this event. Heard a rumor the Trailkeepers (hosts of Eroccs) are gonna be there.

Post up if your going, how many in your group, and how difficult the trails/rocks you wanna wheel. We should be able to hook up with other similar vehicles and "get it awn"!

FYI for those in the area as well:

GLJT will be doing their T4T event on December 15th in Chicago.

This will be their third year and it gets bigger and more fun every year.

... just an option for those that can't make the Attica event.

It really all depends on what I break over Thanksgiving weekend. My junk should be wheelable by then.:D I'll be there.

I was going to be there, but I exploded my rear driveshaft and need to get it fixed (need the extra money).
I doubt I'll be able to wheel that weekend.

CMK, I should be at the T4T GLJT outing. I did the last 2 years and it was fun. don't wanna miss this one. :D

yes I did. that was funny. I've never officially met you so I didn't know who it was at the time. I think I remember seeing pics of that too. I was in a bone stock black xcab zr2 then. (I'm not stock anymore :D )

Looks like I'll be in Fort Wayne the 4th-11th upgrading one of our offices and won't be able to make it:( Someone break something for me.

I'm still planning it....drove the 40 from my house to my buddies for a cage yesterday morning (no top, no doors, no seats, no windshield, sitting on a milk crate, 20 degrees!). He and I met at lunch today and he thinks he may have the bending done by tonight or tomorrow morning. Weld up tomorrow night, paint Wed night, load Thurs nite, on the road Fri noon...

...sound like a good plan so far....heh

For KICKASS mexican, hit Cebollas, good and cheap, it is behind the glenbrook mall, towards the movie theater, it will look busy, but you will get right in.
Let me know if you need any other resturant suggestions, I grew up there and am subjected to the fort over the holidays

Mike and the brown Rangie aren't making it....he sold his 38.5's and is dropping to 36's, but don't think he's bought em yet. (For some reason he's convinced he can get his front 44 to survive with stock joints, stock shafts, and the smaller tires....don't get it myself...but whatever)

Plus his tow junk is motorless - tossed a rod, so it's new 460 time for him.

I'm pushing my luck to make it, but have faith....I'm actually not as much worried about the Cruiser being done as the Lemon (motorhome) surviving the trip!!


BTW: CAMPING!! What's the name of that all-season spot just south of the Badlands and what are directions to get there? Be nice to not sleep in the Pamida lot again! lol Intend to arrive about 6ish on Friday evening.

I think it is called Steam Corner. It is south of Attica about 16 miles on hwy 41. Hope this is what you are looking for.

WOOHOO!! Cage completed last night....pulled it out for some final weld work on the underside stuff and to toss a coat of paint on it early tonight. If the Lemon starts, and I can figger out how to get the trailer out of the garage, I outta be all set. Got 3 wrapped toys all set to go.

Course, I'll be spending the "hurry up and wait" moments on the trail finishing up the little crap I don't remember right now....lol

I'll be there with the big red ugly, and several friends from Bloomington, IL. I doubt we're going to get too radical, as a lot of our group is only mildly modified. Probably the green and orange trails, and some mini carnage at the quarry.

I'm back into unsure mode myself....Cruiser is all set and the new cage is fawking awesome.

Unfortunately, the Lemon (motorhome) overheated the minute I hit the freeway this morning and is now at a local shop getting checked out...
