I know that most of you don't read the d-90 list now so I thought I'd cross post this over.

looks at the preparaciones link and then click on the videos pretty big ass truck running on 38s but he's running leaves which I thought was interresting. Pretty flexy truck wouldn't mind getting some more info on it. Something that I'd never do but hey maybe it'll help out those leafers with some ideas.

In one of the defender videos it looks like the guy has a 60 under the front end with leaf springs(green rig, but not the same one pictured). It's the one with the guy crawling up the ravine.

Thans for the link, very interesting!
From what I see it seems to be a chevy 3/4 ton front, that was redrilled for rover wheels but I'm not sure, it might be 8 bolt. There are dynatrac tags on the rear 60.
The springs look like LR front springs, and they seem to work well.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only that believes a sprung over series truck can perform equally to a coiler in wheel travel, and be superior in terms of reliability and simplicity of design.
Cool stuff!
