Im mating a th350 to a dana 20 and the shifter is going to be about 7 inches to far back. These shifters seem to be mounted on a tube that in theory could be longer or shorter. Is there a stock application that I could use. If there is does anybody have these parts.

I have a attached a picture of what mine looks like. I have seen some that are longer but not sure if they are long enough. The longer ones I have seen are attached to a t-18. I wonder if there is a stock auto configuration out there that would have what I am looking for.

Any ideas.

Thanks,

Arne Anderson

Might want to check out one from a th400. That was a factory setup on some older FSJ Waggies and J trucks.

Dana 20's behind TH400's in Jeepster Commando's and J-trucks had a funky U-pattern shifter mounted to a longer bar, one of those would do the trick, or you could mount your shifter to the longer bar, or you could just cut a length of tubing the correct size and lengthen the shift linkage accordingly, I've seen them made out of jack handles before.

thanks guys just thought it might be less work to pick one up that was already set up. Its not hard to lengthen the tube just wanted it to be nice and clean.
